Educational Qualification
Junior Statistical Officer (JSO): You’ll need a graduate degree from a recognised university. Plus, you must have either scored 60% or more in Maths in your 12th grade or taken Statistics as a subject during your graduation.
Statistical Investigator Grade-II: To apply for this role, your graduation should include at least one of these subjects—Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics—whether as a main subject or as an elective.
Research Assistant in NHRC: This position requires a bachelor’s degree along with at least one year of hands-on research experience from a recognised academic or research institution.
All other posts: If you’re a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university, you’re eligible to apply for the remaining positions under SSC CGL Notification 2025.
SSC CGL Application Form 2025
The entire registration for the SSC CGL application form 2025 process took place online via the official website, ssc.gov.in. Candidates who met the eligibility criteria were required to complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) first, followed by filling out the application form. - SSC CGL Tier-2 Exam 2025 will be conducted in two phases, Paper I and Paper II.
- Paper I is compulsory for all candidates applying for any post.
- Paper II is only for candidates applying for Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) or Statistical Investigator Grade II.
- Time allotted for Paper I is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The time allotted for Paper II is 2 hours.
- In Paper I, there is a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section I, Section II, and Module I of Section III.
- In Paper II, 0.50 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
